How to Add a Cover Photo to Your Facebook Timeline

In Desktop:

Step 1. The very first initial step to change Facebook cover photo is to open your Facebook account by providing the id and password.

Step 2. Through this, your Facebook Newsfeed will be open.

Step 3. Move your cursor to your profile name showing on the top right side of the Facebook page.

Step 4. This will open your Facebook profile. You need to bring your cursor to your FB cover photo and select the “Update Cover Photo” showing on the top-left side of the Facebook cover pic.

Step 5. By hitting the option, a drop down will be open, select “Upload Photo” link to change FB cover photo.

Step 6. By choosing the link, your computer data will pop up. To change the cover photo on FB, you need to upload a new photo by selecting it from your computer.

Step 7. After selecting a photo, you need to tap on the “Open” tab, and this will change your Facebook cover photo.

Step 8. You can drag your FB cover photo up and down to set its position. After repositioning the FB cover pic, move your cursor to the “Save Changes” tab to confirm it.

Step 9. You can also add FB cover photo in your Facebook album by selecting the option ‘Select Photo’ option.

Step 10. You need to select one image from your Facebook Album and select “Save Change” Option.

In Mobile:

Step 1. Open your Facebook App by clicking its icon showing on the mobile screen.

Step 2. If you are not log in into your Facebook Account, then you have first submitted your Facebook Id with Password option.

Step 3. If you already sign up your account, then it will open your Facebook news feed.

Step 4. After that, touch the menu option appearing in the top right side of the page.

Step 5. After that, for Facebook Timeline Add Cover Photo select your profile showing on the top of the list of the Facebook Page.

 

Step 6. Then touch your cover photo change or add on FB. After choosing the FB cover photo, a pop-up menu will be open to having many options.

Step 7. Select “Upload Photo” option. This will open your mobile phone gallery. You need to select your new FB cover Pic by pressing it.

Step 8. After selecting FB cover pic, it will directly upload in your FB cover section. You can adjust it by dragging it up and down and then select “save” option appearing in the top-right side of the page.

Step 9. You can also add the Facebook cover photo from the Facebook album.
