We generally watch many videos in our smartphone and want to save them in out device for sharing & watching in future. We have already shared a trick to download video from any website online.
There are various Apps or tools available for downloading videos but here we come with a unique way to download videos by using Android Terminal. Android Terminal in Android device is just like “Command Prompt” in Windows, where you can run commands to execute any program.

Here to download we will gonna execute a set of code lines, which is written by Gabi Taplia. Here We will gonna use “Termux” as Android terminal. So, Let’s check out how we can download any video on our android Device with Android terminal.
Download video on Android Device With Android Terminal
Steps are just simple & straightforward. First we will execute 4 commands in Android Terminal, then we will be able to download videos from Youtube-dl supported websites. Youtube-dl is a command-line program to download videos from Youtube and many more websites.

Just Follow the steps given below:
Step 1: First download & Install Termux on your Android device.
Step 2: Now, open this Android Terminal & execute following 4 Commands one by one:
1. wget http://pastebin.com/raw/W1nvzN6q -O install.sh
2. dos2unix install.sh
3. chmod u+x install.sh
4. ./install.sh
It will also ask to allow it to “access Media & device File”, as shown in GIF Image given below, just allow it.
Step 3: Once you have executed these command successfully. Now open Website from where you want to download videos, for example, YouTube. Open Video on Youtube & Tap on Share & select “Termux”.
Step 4: Now it will give you an option to Download Audio as well as Video with different quality. You have to just enter the suggested number and this will start downloading.
Step 5: Now to view these download video, visit File Explorer, and you will find a New folder with the name of website/app, like in this case “Youtube”. This is the place where all videos downloaded from YouTube will get saved.
